What baby changing items do I need aside from nappies?

When you are preparing to change your baby, you need to ensure the room is well lit and warm. You will need a changing mat that is waterproof. This way you can wipe away any urine or stools. Some parents like to use warm water and cotton wool to clean their baby’s genital area and bottom, or you can use baby wipes. Prior to replacing the nappy, many parents use a cream or Vaseline to avoid nappy rash. These are the essential items. You could also use the changing time to massage oils into your baby’s skin. All these will fit nicely in a baby changing bag. There are a range of designs to suit everyone’s taste.
