My friend told me that breastfeeding may suppress my libido, is this true?

For some women, breastfeeding can contribute to a lower libido although it's often difficult to know whether it's just sheer exhaustion form the physical demands of a new baby that stops you feeling sexy more than breastfeeding. Some women find that breastfeeding makes them feel more aroused and interested in sex. More common however, is a noticeable vaginal dryness brought on by a less estrogen circulating in your body? This is due to breast-feeding hormones preventing ovulation, which in turn naturally decreases your desire for sex. However, please don't rely on breast-feeding as contraception as it's not reliable.
