Do I need to take any supplements whilst breast-feeding?
Women who are Breast-feeding do need extra energy and nutrients so it is important
that they you eat a healthy well-balanced diet and consume plenty of fluids. This
will also ensure all of the nutrients you require are also available to the baby
via your milk. However, women who are breastfeeding women are advised to take
a supplement containing 10micrograms of vitamin D each day.
